Roland TD-6 V-Club Set
I bought this Roland V-Club w/ TD-6 back in 2001 and its still going strong despite much cosmetic damage. While it will never replace a real acoustic set, its perfect for drummers that live in apartment complexes and have space and noise issues to contend with. I practice with these and have recorded with entire bands right in my apartment - impossible with an acoustic set.
The downside to this set is it has no mesh heads- just rubber. It requires a reverse beater drum pedal which takes some getting used to. It's mainly something to practice with at home and do some quick recordings when a live studio is not an option. The cymbals sound good but they don't respond well to choking. The stand is not the greatest but the newer Roland kits come with a better frames hat hide cables.
I'm not a techy - just a drummer that needs to practice- the Roland website has more information. Also my kit is old and most of the newer kits seem mucgh better although still not convinced about the cymbals.
