Default Yamaha MW10C USB mixer - multiple tracks into Cubase AI4 simultaneously?

Hello,

I own a Yamaha MW10C USB mixer. This comes with Cubase AI4.

My question is, can I record via this device into multiple Cubase tracks simultaneously? I.e. my friends and I plug our instruments into different channels on the mixer, can I have each of these channels recording to separate Cubase tracks?

If so, how do I do this? From what I can see, within Cubase the device only presents two channels to Cubase...

The Yamaha web page for this product is: MW Series | Interfaces (FireWire/USB) | Products | YamahaSynth.com

Thanks!

That link keeps causing my computer to freeze.

I would guess, from the $200 price tag, probably only records a single stereo mix into Cubase, no individual instruments.

Ignore whatever the marketing description says about being a recording studio, read the manual and look for keywords like "stereo track", "multitrack", "Cubase setup" things like that.

For true multi-tracking of more than 2 instruments, you are starting at a $400 price range for a FP10 or better.

Yeah - seems like it is only two track. Thanks for your help, and sorry about the link!
