Upgraded to 1.8 GHz processor and 1.5 GB RAM last night.

Garageband '08 runs much more smoothly.

Ath 64 X2 5000+ (2.4ghz I believe)
2gb DDR2 800 ram (I should push to 4, just lazy)
500gb Sata II
Nvidia Geforce 8600 GT 256mb card
DL DVD burner
22" Samsung 226bw flatscreen
M-Audio 24/96 card (that's gotta go soon)
Sonar 7 PE

This system runs great for most things, however I can actually choke it out pretty easily once I start loading some heavy-duty vst's in a multi-track project (EWQL stuff, Gigastudio libraries, Synthology pianos), which is already making me think of building a new system with higher specs (and perhaps a lesser video card, this one is total overkill for an audio station.)
