So, I want to get a fairly decent setup for recording some songs I wrote. Ill only be recording vocals and acoustic guitar. In another thread I was recommended a condensor mic (im looking at the studio projects b1) and an interface that has phantom power. I was just curious what interfaces have phantom power, and how expensive they are...I really dont want to break the bank... I appreciate any help! Thanks |

| Well by golly, you're right...I would have put that about number four, Well I guess once you have it narrowed down to a manageable number you need to go to www.Musician'sfriend.com and look at the specs. They don't keep it secret. If it has phantom power it will be prominently advertised. I would guess 75% of interfaces provided phantom power. It's probably 95% above the $200 range.

well...sorry lol Ya, I think $200 is above my budget for right now... I was recommended a Shure PG48-XLR mic with a lexicon alpha interface, and I think I might go with that for now... |
