This is a USB condensor microphone. I have heard SEVERAL people get magnificent recordings from this, for what it is. I am just wondering if anybody is familiar with this mic? Do you know a good setting to pick up HIP HOP/RAP [sharp] vocals? Is there a way to work the latency to get LIVE FEED in the headphones while recording with this mic?

At the $100 and less price range, I wouldn't expect too much from the mic. But you can drape some thick blankets behind and above the mic to get rid of some room sound. That always helps when tracking vocals. As far as latency, normally it depends on how fast the computer is, but with this all-in-one, I'm pretty sure you're stuck with what you got. |

I've heard some surprisingly good recordings from this little guy. I don't think it's going to set any world microphone records, but it's amazing what it can do at this price point. Brandon
