I was wondering if any one here has experience using Roland RSM-90 near fields? I have read some reviews for them and they seem to be pretty decent but I haven't yet heard them myself. Also, if I were to purchase the monitors I would also be getting a Sony STR-DE197 amp and tuner. The amp is only 100 watts, and the monitors can handle 270 I believe. is a 100 watt amp going to be enough to push the drivers even at lesser levels? and would it be a good idea even to get passive monitors and an amplifier to use with my pro tools rig. I am only using an M-Box 2 , and I'm not even sure if I would be able to hook up the monitors through the amp from my M-Box outputs. Can someone please help me? Should I not purchase the passive monitors? |
