What up, all ? I am new to this forum, just joined 2day! Im trying 2 decide between buying a Presonus Firebox r da Saffire. Kan ne one give me sum suggestions. I gotta laptop runnin Vista, 4 gig ram, 360 hdd. I really dont know krap bout computers, barely trying to learn. Ne thing would help THANX!!

Well, lately we've had a lot of angry Presonus buyers.

Electric, you put it so nicely, but I think its more than a few... Its a whole lot of anygry PRE**** buyers....

And im leading the charge. I feel bad for legacyman.... He seemed so excited to start but i think the setbacks are getting to him

From what I've heard here about Presonus and from what I know about Vista, I doubt it would be wise to try use the two together!

There's a whole lot of anger by a few people. You are admittedly on a mission.

Let's face it, if this stuff NEVER worked, as you say, it wouldn't be on the market very long.

It's not that I put things nicely... What for?

But in keeping with Brandon's vision for this site, I try do my part to keep the information around here accurate and fair.

So true Electric... Im still waiting for PRE***** to issue a Recall. Im certain the Firestudio line is gonna quietly disappear or be redesigned with a new name.

For the last month or so (on this board) the only interface complaints have been PRE*****. Everytime a Newbie post about interface problems the Title always starts with PRE*****... HELP!....

My Mission on this Forum!!!

1. To help those in need of Help! (As I often Need myself)
2. Share my little Knowledge on various subject pertaining to Recording
3. ADVISE AS MANY PEOPLE AS I CAN TO STAY AWAY FROM NOTORIOUSLY FAULTY EQUIPMENT THAT WILL DRASTICALLY REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF TIME ENJOYING THIS WONDERFUL THING WE CALL MAKING (ENGINEERING & PRODUCING) MUSIC

No Offense to PRE*****, but it could have been any make or brand. And if I do experience Horrible Equipment, Terrible customer service and crappy drivers again, they to (BRAND) will receive the same if not more negative attention...

I was a newbie once (I still am in some respects)!!! Thanks to the informative people here I can say that Im definetly heading in the right direction. I feel its my DUTY to steer others in same manner!!!
