Default Mic For Vocals

Hello JW,

The way I understand it, the Vamp is just a guitar amp that plugs into the computer. It doesn't appear to be a full blown audio interface. You may want to check out this:

As for mics that work for both acoustic guitar and vocals there are many out there. Yesterday I did a session and ended up with my AT4050 on acoustic guitar and later on, on vocals. It worked great. You can snag them used on Ebay for $300 all the time. They are my best bang for the buck microphone. New they cost quite a bit more.

If you are looking for a budget mic, I'd probably go with something like this: AT Search | Musician's Friend 2020

I used a $40 Behringer large diaphram condenser and I have to say that it wasn't bad at all. I almost bought it.
