 Lynx Aurora 8 ad/da help
im thinking of upgrading from an RME to a Lynx Aurora ad/da. how would i connect something like that since its not a regular interface. ex: it doesnt have firewire connection or xlr input/output. all it has is analog in and analog out ports. what else would i need to connect my pre/mic? any info would be great. thank you

You still need a firewire or PCI interface. And I'm pretty sure unless you are using a Digi of some kind, those AES outputs would be useless to you. So you would need to buy the optional ADAT card to connect to an interface. You can get the same high-end A/D/A conversion in the Apogee Rosetta line, and most already have ADAT.

look at the Lynx Aurora 8/FW, it has a firewire card installed already.
