Looking For Audio Interface

Hi, I'm Spencer. I'm trying to get into recording and just bought a Samson CO3 Multi-Pattern Condenser. I know a lot of people bash Samson but I have another model (forgot which one) which I got for 30 bucks and it sounds pretty good, for 30 bucks at least.

I still need an interface/usb mixer however I don't know which to buy. I tried the wizard (which is pretty nifty) and it had nothing for me. I would like 8 XLR inputs (at least...least 4). I'm in an instrumental rock band (records live) recently started an indie band (would probably record with individual tracks) and I'm hoping to do some solo acoustic work. I'm 16, no job, little money so budget is a factor.

It would be nice if preamps were included with the interface as well as phantom power.

I'm tired, can't think of what else I need advice on but I guess we can start on this. I've looked at tooonns of interfaces/usb mixers and just don't know what to get, I kinda need someone to just tell me "these are great interfaces for the money" and give me a few choices. Thanks for your help!

I ran your numbers in the Sound Card Wizard and got over 20 choices.

I HIGHLY recommend you go back through the wizard and only selecting features you REQUIRE if you actually require them. Most people will go through with the "it would be nice to have" S/PDIF, AES, and ADAT digital inputs but there is no audio interface that has all three.
