    Default Jay Turser necks

Hey Jay Turser guitar owners. I have a question for you. I have a JT-50 (sg knockoff) and it has a super wide neck with high radius. It's wider and flatter than any electric guitar I've ever played. I'm curious to know if all of their guitars have a neck like this, or if it's just my model.

Anyone have a JT guitar that can help me out?

I used to work at a music store that sold tons of Jay Tursers. I think it is that particular model. I don't remember a lot of them having wide necks.

My sg isn't wide - 55p with the PU real close to the bridge. I would be interested to know if there was a model with a wider neck

Sounds like its just yours. We recently had like 50 JT's we got in as B stock to sell as used, (i work in a music store) and all of them have slim necks... Similar to Fender C shaped. We have 3 or 4 SG knock offs that all feel similar to the Strat copies.

Hey, Boz. How "jumbo" are your frets? If they're super-wide (or even pretty wide), I'd be interested in running down a copy of your version. Also, is yours an unusual color or finish or have other cosmetics that are unusual? Heck (gosh, dang, shucks, etc.), if you could throw a picture of your guitar up, I'd like that a lot.

They're not very jumbo, although admittedly, I don't really know. Mine is the standard JT-50 black with nothing special. I bought it new for $150 about 4 years ago. I'll post a picture tonight. In the mean time, here's the description on their site. Jay Turser JT-50 Electric Guitar

It's hard to tell by looking at it that the neck is wide, but it's really obvious when playing it. Everyone I've had play it says it feels significantly wider than any guitar they've ever played. Personally, I've grown to love the wide neck. That reason alone would make me buy another if this one dies. I'm just curious if I'd have to stick with the exact same guitar or if I could use other JT guitars and get the same thing.
