Default If you bought some Karma K-10's, Would you sell your Behringer C-2's?

They are pretty much both the same (SDC pencil mic's), and I know the
K-10's are better. I'm upgrading right now and I am selling a bunch of Mic's, but i'm replacing several cheap mic's for very few not so cheap mic's.

My large cheap mic collection is turning into a small good mic collection and i'm feeling a little inadequate about that.

What if this was you. would you see any use in keeping the c-2's?

I'm of the opinion that you just can not have too many mic's

I have a realativly large and expensive collection. I still own cheap mic's as well because you never know when you'll need them. Lets say you wanted to record with a few room mic's or use your bathroom as an echo chamber(don't laugh this sounds awesome)you'll have just the right mic's for it. You never know what you'll want to try in the future and for the peanuts you'll get for them you may as well keep them.

Not to mention if you ever have kids, or kids ever come over to your place, cheap versions of your nice stuff is your best friend.

Plus, how much can you sell those for? what would you buy instead, a burrito?

I think having extra mics is always useful, especially if you can't get anything moneywise out of them anyways.

I may be a hoarder when it comes to music equipment, but I've never sold any pice of music equipment except my Lexicon200 a few years ago. I may have only used that thing once during the 3 years I owned it, but I'm still mad at myself for getting rid of it.

Just keep 'em.

Agree with the others above.

I have some cheaper equipment that I find comes out of the cabinet for special circumstances.

I have twin, 16-year old boys who are into music. They're happy with the "hand-me-downs" (i.e, mixing board, Rode NT1s, extra 58s, old Alesis One Reference monitor system, etc).

I agree. You can never seem to have too many mics lying around.

Well, I've been schooled.

Got the K-10's last night by the way. Played around with them real quick double micing an acoustic, and I must say they are not too shabby at all for the price. Can't wait to try them on overheads.
