 How does Samson fare?
If experience could be measured in numbers, then when it comes to mics I'd probably be in the minus numbers. In other words I know ef-all about mics. Anyhoo, a friend of mine gave me a Samson CO1 and what I want to know is how does this mic measure up? Has anybody used one?

i'm not terribly far away from you in terms of mic knowledge, but from what i've heard the CO1 isn't exactly overwhelming. to be honest, i'd sell it and pony up the extra $10 or $20 for a StudioProjects B1, or even better, the AKG Perception 120. |

Maybe I should broaden my question and ask: How good (or bad) is Samson in general? Ive seen very little (if anything) about Samson on this site.

I don't know about samson in general but I have a CO1 and have found it to sound pretty dull whenever I have used it.
