Although Would It Hurt To Find Something Off craigslist Er Something As A Devoted Computer? I Found A mac With A 1GHz And 512Ram For 50 Bucks.

No, I say that so you dont waste your money getting package deal stuff that may not suit your needs. You'd want tup upgrade most of that stuff thus, it will become worthless to you.

Here's what I'd get in your shoes. The SM 57, then save up a couple hundred for a good audio interface to work with. You can get a 4 channel one for agbout 250 or so. that guves you 4 seperate tracks you can record at once. See what i'm getting at?

You can't beat the 57 for all around use (my opinion) if you only have one mic, its a good one to get. You can find one on craigslist for 50 gbucks usually.
