Quality: 10
using the unit for about 2 years now, I have grown to like it even more than in the beginning.
The sound is great and jacks top quality.
This unit is a middle of the road cost wise interface. $400.
When I loaded it to my new pc, 2.4 ghz, it was online in 5 minutes!
There's so many inputs and outputs its got room to grow for years, really no problems and the driver downloads is all that was recommended.
PCI interface with one cable that goes to the "desk box".
Its a soild built piece in comparison to the plastic boxes, 10.
Reliability: 8
I got mine later so the new drivers had fixed about everything apparently. Its been rock solid.
Only issues I had was trying to start it up on an old old 700Mhz pc, which it worked but they could have raised the minimum to 1Ghz CpU imo. Today that is not much of an issue.
My 512Ram 2.4Ghz loaded it up and was online in 5 minutes!
Overall Rating: 8
I have to give it an 8 for reliability and quality.
It works with Cubase although I have moved to Kristal Audio Engine, for personal preference.
Noticed these are on sale today, clearance of the PCI cards no doubt, 24-192 if needed. Patchmix is great...no complaints.
