Drum pad for software

Can you buy some sort of drum pad that will work with battery , bfd etc , rather than playing freehand drums on my keyboard controller ?

You could get a pad controller like a trigger finger. Or you could get something like a roland spds pad. If you want a drumset, an electronic one will do if it has midi out, but this is an expensive road. Or you could get a zendrum, I have one and love it.

i see roland have exactly what im looking for but its much more than i want to pay at $600 . some sort of controler pad that works via firewire or usb for software is what im looking for . ill check out Zendrum .
