 Did anyone take advantage of Musicians Friend being down?!
I don't know if many knew, but last night musiciansfriend.com was down for maintance. Due to this problem, if you ordered by phone, everything on the site was 20% off! And if you ordered something on backorder, it was 35% off! For 20% off I got: Focusrite Saffire Pro40 Audix Fusion 7 7-PieceDrum Mic Kit Behringer POWERPLAY PRO-XL HA4700 Headphone Amp Sony MDR-7506 Headphones For 35% off I got: M-Audio BX8a Monitor / MXL 990/ 991 Recording Microphone Package - M-Audio BX8a Monitor - MXL 990 - MXL 991 - 2 XLR cables - 2 boom stands - Audio-Technica ATH-M20 closed-back headphones - 2 1/4" cables I'm happy with the rig. I can't wait to hook it up and start tracking.  Any opinions on the rig? Did anyone else take advantage of the deal?

I have two pair of the sony mdr-7506. They are great headphones in the right situation, but in a dry climate, they will shock you in the ears with static buildup. It's kind of nasty. I'll be selling them both soon.
