Question Decent set of monitors for £200?

Hi there,
This is my first post and i dont pretend to really know much about this recording business. I have done a few recordings but only through Tracktion and the 1/8" jack on my soundcard! My mixes sound alright but nothing great so im looking to upgrade my computer but i think i have the rough specs for that.

Now to question! - I would really like some decent monitors but i dont have that much money, i am going to a music/recording course next year (yes i know that some of you are none too impressed by the need for that but i think it''ll be interesting and id love to learn, plus its free until im 19 )

SO, id really like a good pair of monitors for under £200 if possible, i could go a bit over but not much. I do live in the UK so any UK sites would be appreciated.

Thanks for any advice that you guys have to offer,
Glyn

Yo,

I am not an old tooth in the game or anything, but I started doing a bit over the last few years, and after a bit of research, I got myself a set of Fostex PM 0.4.

Check them out online (if they still do them),

£130 for the two, and they seem to have more power than I could ask for (for home recording).

That said I'm not that picky - and I don't know what else someone should be looking for in a set of Monitors, they sound great quality, but I don't know what to compare them to!
