I am recording on a Tascam portastudio dp-02. Everything sounds great on headphones directly through the portastudio and recording has gone smoothly. When I master the tracks and convert it to a wav file i hear clicks and pops at certain times. I am simply mixing and mastering the tracks, converting the master to a single wav file. Then I transfer that wav file to my computer and that wav file has popping and clicking sounds. Please help.

Hi, Newbie, first post. Maybe the "clicks and pops" you hear are coming from the HD or from the led that indicates that the HD is being readed. I've read some threats about this problem about some DP-02. Please, let me know what is your conclusion, cause I am going to buy a new multitrack recorder and I'm considering this unit. Sorry for my bad english (I speak portuguese). |
