Default Electro-Harmonix 2880 Super Multi-Track Looper Reviews

Electro-Harmonix 2880 Super Multi-Track Looper Description
The Electro-Harmonix 2880 offers the familiar control setup of a multitrack digital recorder plus flexible looping capabilities and track manipulation control. Multiple loops, in stereo and mono, can be pitch shifted, reversed and manipulated on four recording tracks. These four tracks can then be moved to two mixdown tracks, freeing them up to be reused. Flexible punch in/out is available on any recording track, allowing the musician to achieve "Looper Perfection" with the 2880. Complex multitrack loops may be created and overlaid in a performance situation with ease

The 288's non-compressed audio delivers 44.1k 16 bit CD fidelity while providing audio storage of 480 seconds for each of the six available tracks when using a 256MB CF card. It comes with 128MB CF card and is comptable with cards up to 2GB. With external in/out midi clocking, it also provides automatic format conversion to Mac or PC via USB.

ok, I got me one of these dad burned pedals and ill be dipped in buttermilk if aint a super cool looper. Super clean and can do stereo (but then 2 tracks) and it does sync to midi, in fact it syncs to midi and is the only real hardware looper in production for less than $1000 that actually does sync to midi and is stereo. however, not like the lexicon jamman (and I dont mean the crapper digitech scam model), but the lexicon has been out of production for some ten years. But the 2880 does pretty good if you like playin with yourself........by your self & loopin parts I be meanin

Reliability: 3
dag gummit, I done had it three days and the beef would lock up on me, so I have to send it back to them vermins and they asked for $12 to cover shipping back to them.

Overall Rating: 7
look it beats the crap out of the boss rc-50 turd that doesnt sync to midi let alone itself. Its so sad, man it aint no looper its a pooper.. So its better ,but not the ultimate looper only as its midi capabilities are so so. Its better though. The only looper that gets a ten from me is the lexicon jaman rack unit which is a looping dream as it syncs to midi every time its like the midi god of loopers.
