No seriously how do all the limiters and comps and eq's find theyre way into yr music.I realize you probably record bands too, but what i guess im asking is, do you need these kinds of tool with the samples.

i use them for all the instruments that i sample, ill use the compression for my kicks, snares, etc, ill use the l2 on my master track while using fl9 or when i set up busses in cool edit, I have a bunch of people that go to our main studio, that play guitar and piano so we use plugins for them as well, for vocals i like the waves plug ins, but its more or less like a home away from home thing, i like to have more than i need then not have enough when needed.

See the price of the Merc bundle Will? LOL!! At 6k or whatever it was when I paid for mine, it's safe to say there aren't many people that can afford to shell out that much cash for a plug suite. I believe I'm probably the only dumb baystid that paid for the thing. I'll tell ya though, the iLok is the worst part about owning it other than the crazy price. So many issues with that....it nearly made me remove it and grab an "Arrgh matey skull and cross-bones" version just to lose the fookin iLok and all the issues it brought on. But, I'm totally against cracks and that sort of thing and at times if you're not careful, they can totally ruin a system and I can't afford to take that chance with what I do over here.

I hate my iLok. Hate it. Although I see the software publisher's point.

I see the price all to well Dan. Although I know how DEADLY SERIOUS Garageband is about people using cracks, im pretty sure he was just razzin.

i think i've said it before, but i've found nothing to really add sack and presence to guitar tracks like PSP's Vintage****er.

i really use it on little other than guitars; but what it does, it does well.
