Peavey Studiomix

Had the studiomix some years now and I have never considered updating. It is solid (been dropped on a concrete floor a few times) and easy to use with Sonar. Flying faders clear transport controls ; jog wheel and flexibility of options all in a compact package. If you see any about check em out.

yes, it was the first controller specifically for Cakewalk and came packaged with a copy but I heard there was some falling out between the two partys so it ceased production but there are still loads out there so they come up on ebay.

often considered it especially when I was doing more synth based music but nver got arount to it and now I'm just using it to control Sonar which it does very well with no lag and plenty of flexible options in the Sonar Studiomix controller panel.

like the Avatar - was it Father Crilly? I hope to become a cross between him, Victor Meldrew and Albert Steptoe when I get older
