M-Audio Axiom 25 Description
With the M-Audio Axiom 25 you get an array of MIDI controls in a USB-powered package that won't eat up much desk space. It has velocity-sensitive, semi-weighted key action with assignable aftertouch, 8 rubberized trigger pads for drum programming, 8 endless rotary encoder knobs, 6 transport controls, pitch/mod wheels, and a backlit LCD. It also offers assignable sustain/expression pedal jacks, octave up/down keys, transpose up/down keys, 20 memory locations, and USB or AC power operation. Comes with Enigma librarian/editor software for unlimited control of MIDI setups with your computer and Ableton Live Lite 4 music production software.

Quality: 8
For a small factor controller, it is very well made. Sturdy. Nice weight for use on a desktop. Nice semi-weighted keys. Drum pads are "ok". Like how easy it is in the "learn midi" mode. I use it with PT8 M-Powered. Sounds nice using the DB-33 Hammond Organ plug-in.

I've been using it for about 3 months and have not had any problems running it through either the USB port or the external midi interface on my M-Audio ProjectMix I/O controller.
