Need some opinions about Headphones!

The wife and I both have Senn HD 280 Pro's and we're happy with 'em.
Hell we don't spend all day every day with 'em clamped on our melons so the ear/head fatigue isn't an issue.
We bought 'em because they were on sale at L&M fer a buck and a quarter...and we ain't that picky when it comes to studio cans.

Putting drums to CD in 4 pc band, my ear is killing me. We are doing 4 hour sittings...yeow! What headphones are best that DON'T touch the ear. Some touted to be over the ear are simply, not. Any suggestions? Thanks '/'

Allen Oney, there are probably many but at least Beyer DT770 (880/990) have very large diameter cups and comfortable soft pads that doesn't "stick" to the skin like the leather types. At least they're nowhere near touching my big ears... ;-)
