| Quality: 9 they seem very sturdy, but im a lil scared about the swiveling earcups.. they move about so freely i take care to see that im a lil more careful with them... but the sound quality is amazing (after burn in.. right out of the box i didnt like em much).. i was using sony ex85s and loving them till these came along.. the m50 is relatively flat sounding, so in the beginning i missed the mid bass hump of my sonys.. but after an hour of using the m50 i went back to the ex85 and found them sounding very muddy.. after burn in the m50s are way nicer in the bass department though.. the mids on the m50 are a tad recessed, but not that much IMO.. with the m50 all i have to do is close my eyes and it feels like im sitting in front of the drumkit.. you can actually pinpoint where each of the toms or cymbals are.. guitars and vocals sound good, but if the small bit of mids missing was added, it'd be perfect! Reliability: 9 just got em a week ago. been fine since then. no need to call tech support Overall Rating: 9 yeah definitely recommended! just be sure to burn em in! and yes i will definitely buy em again Last edited by jayeshrc; 05-16-2009 at 09:14 AM. |
