Just an observation!!!
you dont have a subforum for Logic Audio!!!! I use Cubase my self...but Logic users have a way of making you feel really inferior if you use any other software and a pc rather than a Mac!! Last edited by shminkydj : 02-26-2008 at 09:28 PM. |

I "Got On" with PC's most of my life (and I'm old) but I wouldn't go back to them for all the tea in China. Windows is a BIG VIRUS in my opinion.

a computer's a computer. Macs aren't inherently better. Logic isn't better than any other software. The final product that i can get when using logic, as opposed to cubase, however, is a massive massive improvement. Why? because it's what i'm used to using.
I would quite like a forum for logic though. But I'm not too bothered about it really. |

The learning curve on logic really sucks. It does tons, but if you aren't used to working with it and are trying to switch over to it from other programs, you will see it to be very challenging. Logic is a thorn in my side. I hate having to use it, as it is so easier to do the same things in other programs. As far as the users of it and thier superiority complex some portray, most of them have invested so much time learing one program(logic) that they can't get around on others. I find if best to get really good at what you like to use, and learn basics about the others that are popular at the time. There is a real surge in people using Sonar lately, but its just the latest passing fav. If you want to garantee compatibility with professional studios, Make sure you can get your session to show up properly in protools. You can always garantee a studio of pro calibler can get a protools if they don't have it in house. Whether you think protools is the best or not, it IS the pro standard at this point.

Alright, after seeing the Cubase forum doing fairly well, I'd decided to do a little experiment to see if a Logic forum will work. So here you go:
