More clicks per bar from metronome

I can only get four clicks per bar at the moment in Logic 8 Express. I want to get more without altering the sound of the clicks too much. I've resorted to using drum rhythms instead of listening to the metronome but I'd like to spend lmuch less time setting this up by just using one of the metronome settings - which I can't find.

Is it possible to get a different number of clicks than the default?

There's a few things you can do.
With the tempo ruler change the time signature/meter to 8/4 or whatever

Or double click the metronome icon in the transport bar to get the metronome settings.

I have Logic 9 Pro and I don't know it all that well, but it should be similar
