Hey guys, I've managed all kinds of tricks to get things to work, but now what is probably a simple problem has me stumped. When I plug in my CAD U37 something blocks me from monitoring my output. I can't even hear the metronome. Help! I just wanted to be able to quickly record ideas on my laptop without having to fire up the studio. By the way, it's an Intel Macbook running Logic Studio 8. Thanks for any help! |

If only you had a windows system I may be able to help. But first let me ask. Usually when you plug in the MIC. Your playback and recording audio hardware will default to the C-Media Audio which is the CAD mic. You have to go to the MAC's device manager and change the Playback hardware to the laptop default one. Also another thing, you must change the preferences of the DAW to use the mac default audio playback device. Hope this helps |

Thanks for the suggestions. I've tried changing preferences and such with no solution as of yet, it seems to be something in the DAW since I am forced to select C-Media to get anything at all. I am going to set aside an hour tomorrow just for this predicament as I need some sort of solution.
