Yes this is quite possible. Connect a midi cable from the midi out of your drum machine to the midi in of the axiom. Then connect the axiom to your macbook via the usb cable. Logic will recognize the additional ports as "axiom" for input from the axiom keys and axiom pads, and "axiom port 2" for input from the drum machine. I hope this helps.

Thanks. I'll try this out. I tried connecting sometime before, but it didn't work, and I must have done something wrong. Now that I know its possible, I'll work it out.
