Hey. Why can my Macbook not find the soundcard "CoreAudio" in Logic?

what sound card are you using? which version of logic are you using? and which version of MacOS X are you on?

Have you installed the sound cards drivers? What shows up in system prefs under audio inputs and outputs? and Have you got the soundcard externally powered, or are you trying to run it off USB/Firewire power?

... if your mac can't find coreaudio.. then you have a serious problem... coreaudio is the inbuilt sound that a mac has... so its not an external or even removeable soundcard. Logic should be using it as default. If not update your OSX version and you MAY need to reinstall the whole mac.

Check the audio midi settings and make sure its all set up... but if you can play music on itunes.. core audio is fine.
