Default Hardcore Bass XP in logic?

I've had my eye on this bass sampler for a while, and just when i was about to buy it i realized it may not even work on mac.

There's not much info about this thing online anywhere. Has anybody got this working on a modern mac? I'm running Snow Leopard on an intel mac.

I think I heard you need Kontakt or something to run it on a mac. How do I go about doing that?

This product is discontinued, so I would not bet on it being supported in snow leopard on an intel mac. Better save your money for a plug that you know works. Kontakt player is a free download at native instruments website.

Is there a certain sound you're going for that you can't get with the es-1, exs24 or sculpture? I don't know much about 3rd party bass plugs.

The heavy rock, overdriven kind of bass.

Sculpture is what I'm using now... into guitar amp pro. It's not horrible, but it's not great either.

I'll make due for now and possibly down the line just grab ampeg SVX and a cheap bass. Or just run sculpture into ampeg.

Spectrasonics just came out with Trillian. Looks very good.
