Do I need to bounce from Qbase to Logic?

hello everyone!

I'm about to having a few songs remixed by a Logic/Mac user (I use Cubase(PC)). So I was just wondering if there is any way that I could make my existing audiofiles start a 1.1., so I don't need to bounce every track to easily get them to fit the new arrangement in the Logic workframe?

finding it quite hard to decypher your post... But i think you want to get your existing project files to work in Logic...

I'f that's the case, you can export from cubase as an OMF, which will keep the arrange page in tact, but you will lose all of your software instruments/automation (i think)/inserts...

but logic will have equivalent inserts etc, so that should be fine!

Thanks. But the guy I'm about to work with (he lives in London, I live in DK) says that it's always a gamble. And I need something that works. Sometimes, he says, OMF works, sometimes it don't. So he wants me to glue or "stretch" in some way the audiotracks, so they all start at 1.1. Is that possible, without bouncing?

well, there's no harm in trying the OMF, is there? It's the easiest and quickest way of doing this.

if it doesnt work, then think about doing it another way.
