I just started using Logic 8 and am having trouble changing an audio song or sample tempo to match my midi. I tried typing it into the tempo box in the transport bar but no luck. The audio and midi are off tempo. |

Can you elaborate some more? All I see in my "Region Parameters" are the options Normalize Region Parameters, Normalize Without Channel, Normalize Without Channel and Delay and Apply Quantization Settings Destructively... I cant find follow tempo!

I've sort of got the same issue. If I set a background track for reference, is there an easy way to accurately set the tempo to coincide with the audio clip. eg. getting the drums to match up. I doesn't have to be EXACT, but it either trails off or speeds up over a various number of bars. Thanks.

It needs to be recorded in Logic to have the 'follow tempo' button active. An easy work around is to bus the desired track to an audio track,, record it into Logic, and then the 'follow tempo' button will be available on that new audio track, making it easy to follow the MIDI tracks. |
