Default Vocals To One Equal Volume

I have Audacity & Adobe Adition. Does anybody know a way that you can easily get the vocals to one volume, cause the rapper/singer sometimes sings loud and sometime sings low. Is there a way to keep it even, or atleast almost even without having to chop it up into different parts, changing volumes, pasting back, etc

It's called compression. You can do it via software or hardware. Sorry I don't have any specific recommendations. I'm actually currently researching the topic myself.

Yes, a compressor is what you need. I recommend once going in used while recording and another applied to the track using a plug-in after.

Sorry I have no experience with your programs.
