USB mic not recognized

I have a CAB U37 usb condenser mic and audacity is telling me "error while opening sound device. please check the input device or the project sample rate." I don't know what any of this means. Please help!

In Audacity, go to Preferences and see if you can select you device. If not try to reinstall your mic. Set project sample rate to 44.1kHz.
