Hi - I'm very new to all of this and would really appreciate some help. Just wanted to use Audacity to record me reading out a book for my friend whose ill and can't read. I've done the recording bit but now can't seem to play it back - well only 12 secs before I have to open the next b0000 bit of the file. How can I listen to the recording continuously, and can I then copy it onto a CD to play on a walkman?

You will have to export your track as a wav or MP3 file in order for it to play. Audacity stores the tracks in little bitty clips, exporting creates one file. Go to File, then export as WAV, or MP3, whatever you want to export as. The new file will play. Hope that this is helpful. |
