I'm kind of new to the latency issue. My old setup, Alesis I/O 2 with Cubase LE never had any problems. I had to replace my hard drive and I don't have the Cubase CD anymore so I got Audacity and when I record the pitch and tempo goes up drastically. I checked out the latency setting and lowered it to 0. That froze up and then did a physical memory dump and shut my computer off. I tried lowering it in increments and it only changed things slightly. My new copy of Cubase should be in shortly but I'd like to know anyway and the post can help someone else with the same question later on. Any ideas? Thanks... |
