I used Audacity to capture audio from an open reel tape deck. The original recording was made at much higher tape speed than my capture speed, but the speed control on Audacity allowed the playback of the captured audio to sound fine. I wish to export the audio at the increased speed for use in another application. Can I do this in Audacity? Or do I need another editor? BTW, I'm a neewbie.

I've only used Audacity a few times so Im not too familiar with its ins and outs but I would suggest looking through here: Audacity: Documentation and Support for some assistance.
