how to cut clipping in the song

Hello,
I am new here and yestardey I have make a recording whith Rui Veloso in one edirol with two primo ominidirectional microphones in a dummy head and one pre amplifier Fel bma. The edirol in #20 the fel bma preamp in the midle.
In the edirol it was clipping all the time and the most part of the recording was made whith distortion. I would like to know if and how can I diminish the distortion in the Audacity.

In Audacity you can't do much.
Izotope RX is worth the price for fixing things like this.

Maybe you can find a studio that has this already, fixing it would take a few minutes.

make sure your using the right inputs dont send a line level signal in to a mic level input that will cause huge distortion.
