Question How can you Crossfade?

How do you crossfade in Audacity? I have 1.3.6 Beta. I can't figure out how do to it. Please help.

Don't you have "Cross Fade" in your Effects drop-down menu?

I do...and my version (1.2.6) precedes yours. Be sure to check through the entire list, including the effects down at the bottom.

If not, then maybe you can get Cross Fade as a plug-in.

If all else fails, I suppose you could download version 1.2.6.
