Default Digitech RP150 and Audacity

Hey everybody. First timer here.

So, I'm trying to lay down some acoustic guitar tracks in audacity through the RP150. Is there a way to bypass all of the RP150s effects and whatnot so that just the acoustic comes through? It's an acoustic-electric, so I'm running 1/4" from the guitar to the 150, and then USB from the 150 to my computer. But if you select the 'Bypass' option on the 150, (by hitting both foot pedals together) Audacity doesn't record any sound. Can this problem be fixed by running the guitar through a preamp and THEN to the 150? Or is there a way to get no effects at all on the 150? Thanks for any help, guys.

Hello pjbuczek,
Did you find a solution to the RP150 issue with playing your acoustic/electric? If so, what was it? I have a RP350 and plan to run my new Ovation acoustic/electric into soon for recording purposes. If I encounter the same problem, what did you do? While reading your post, I immediately thought of just setting the RP to a clean setting and trying it that way.

Thanks,
Petercon
