Korg D1600
This is a dream machine. I bought it a few years ago when it first came out. The manual is easier to understand than the manual on the 1200.
The led window is huge and tilted permantely at an angle. That's ok, but when your sitting and adjust your input gain, you have to stand up or crane your neck to see the red lights near the trim knobs.
It has sixteen channels, unlike the 1200 that has three stereo channels.
I like the sixteen mono channels much better.
It is an easly going and fun machine to use. It lacks the intstrument and cab choices that the 1600 has, for those with no sets of various amps, I guess. I've talked to guys who use it for live recordings and are very happy with theirs.
I give it three straight 9's on the ratings.
