Really solid, especially for the price. I inherited a pair of them at work. They seem to have more clarity in the midrange than, say, the old Alesis Monitor Ones. And they have 8 inch woofers, so there's more low end. Still, a lot of people seem to like other monitors (like the Yamaha NS10Ms) that don't necessarily sound as great, but seem to help you make better mixes (i.e. "if you can get it to sound decent over these, everything else should be an improvement").
