Default JBL LSR4328P Pak Reviews

JBL LSR4328P Pak Description
The JBL LSR4300 Series is the first professional studio monitors with computer connectivity, networking, and automatic room compensation. And thanks to the automatic room compensation of the LSR4300 series, any room - even an untreated one - can be a good mix environment. JBL has made acquiring these monitors easy with the introduction of the LSR4328P Pak!

Quality: 9
They seem very sturdy, and have a rubberized type coating over the cabinets which should help with dings. Mine stay put though so no worries.

They sound FABULOUS! I work in a small 9 by 14' room with my mix desk oriented in a corner. The room correction really dials out a lot of unwanted bass woof caused by the room, and my mix' translate well to other systems well. I use these for full audio mixing as well as TV and Radio ads, and I am very happy with the results. They do what they are supposed to do. And they do handle low bass well without a sub. When recording bass tracks I get my sound playing through the JBLs and I can sure feel it.

I love that all the controls are on the front. They are connected by Ethernet, so when I turn one on they both come on. They also come with a handy remote.

I give them a 9 because I'm sure there are better monitors out there, but man I am happy.

Reliability: 10
I have had no problems. The protect themselves well. Once in a while we get a little brown blip with the power. I mean the power doesn't go out, but it browns out for a couple seconds. These are the only electronic thing I have that shuts down to protect itself. I have to unplug them to reset, which isn't optimal, but I feel safe in a wind storm with these babies. I have them on all day every day.

I give these a 10 because I have had zero problems. Originally myseld and another producer friend both bouth M-Audio EX-66 (I think I have that right) nearfields. They sounded great, but both had power problems and odd noises emanating. After 3 returns between the two of us we both went with these and nave no complaints.

Overall Rating: 9
Yes I recommend this product. Yes I would buy it again, but it would take a while to save up the 1,400.00+, so let's not go there.
