PreSonus Firebox!!!

Being a newbie, I've been using the least expensive interface with amp mods I could find the "line six gearbox". I really like the mods and the program as it's easy to use.
However, I needed something with 2 inputs to record acoustically and I stepped up to the line six 2 channel version with mic' inputs as well as inst'.
All seemed well until I realized the sound Q' I was hearing in the phones wasn't being translated to the assigned tracks. Asking some recording guys why, I was introduced to the "class a pre'amp" and all agreed that for the $ the presonus firepod was the way to go. I don't need 8 inputs at this time, probably never will, so I was directed to the "Firebox" and was amazed with the difference. I still use the gearbox for the amp mods, but for acoustic guitar/vocals the firebox does the trick.
If I could find a way to use the gearbox mods (the Albert Lee "58 fender 4/10 bassman" is too sweet) with the firebox class a's I'd be very happy, but alas the line six doesn't recognize the firebox.
