That's hilarious... I am sure to commit many a faux pas on this and other audio production sites as i fumble my way through it all. Not sure if this permitted, but I recently viewed the DVD Tom Dowd & The Language of Music and found it very interesting and entertaining.

Ha, that's funny. I surely will commit many a faux pas on this and other music production sites. Not sure if this is permitted but, recently viewed DVD Tom Dowd & the Language of Music. Not too deep on the engineering/ audio production but entertaining never the less.

On the Project Studio Network Recording Podcast, mixer to the stars Charles Dye is a proponent of plug-ins that emulate SSL or Neve pre's. Of course that doesn't mean the tracking wasn't done with some good pre's.
