Default Advice??

I recently upgraded from a standalone recorder to a tascam fw 1082, i know it's supposed to come with cubase le, but to my understanding it's a very simple program. I'm thinking of getting cubase 4 (whichever is newest) and diving right into learning how to use it. Any advice on whether i should do this?

The cubase LE is awesome, I absolutely dig it. I have been using it for over a year and a half with a line 6 interface and I have no complaints. Dont let the price fool you. I have recorded multiple demo's with it and plan on doing a full length album with it. I have had the luxury to record on a full on trident with neve automation and a 2inch otari reel which cost us $60,000.00 with producer fees, and my demo's sound pretty damn close to that if not better on some occassions.
