Default workflow explained

hi,

I'm relative new to mastering but I've got a good knowledge of the "instruments"
itself (compression, EQ, delay etc.), I've read some books about it but I haven't an idea on how to plan a work yet (in most cases those books assume that you're already an expert and give you some more tricks).

I'm look for a practical manual for general rules to be applied to dry mixes. Simply rules well explained.

Then I'll go to more specific issues.

thanks

max

Err, "friendly", in addition to all the things such a book needs to be, is a pretty tall order.

Agree. At times my head begins to spin reading his book, but if you keep at it, it all becomes clear!
