Default Where to Master

yo people, hows it hangin?

i know there are a few top notch mastering houses around the US.

however, i would like to know some of the middle of the range mastering places.

if so, how do i tell dodgy ones from not so dodgy ones? it would be good if you have personal experience with these establishments.

I found a good one close to home. Basically, I think they should furnish you with a sample of their work on some of your material. If they won't provide a two minute treatment on your stuff, move along and find someone who meets your expectations.

I've recently done business with Jeff Elliott in Toronto - Home | Fedge (Toronto Mastering Engineer,Jeff Elliott)

The results were absolutely incredible. Couldn't be happier.

Massive Mastering is reputable and affordable. Has first-rate outboard mastering gear.

Now offers options to master single songs as well.

MASTERING - MASSIVE Mastering - Digital Audio, CD Services

I've used them before; all via Internet with great communications.
