That is not a map, it looks like a spectragram, a type of spectrum analysis tool used to represent frequencies over time. Frequencies are represented left to right (usually 20Hz to 20Khz or wider) and time is top to bottom with the top begin the oldest data.

The darker the area the more intense the signal at that time and that frequency so for instance, just to the left of the yellow line there is an area that has no indication of signal. Usually these graphs can be setup to show the data either linearly or expotentially. Additionally they usually have shades of color to represent intensity, for instance blue would indicate no signal and red indicating clipping. The graph is just another way to represent frequency, like any spectrum analysis.

I do not know what Alsmp stands for...
